Our Staff
Ricky and Lay Hwa are the founding directors of the ministry. Apart from overseeing the orphanage, they make handicrafts to sell in support of the ministry, organize service learning projects or community involvement projects for the youth.
Ricky Tan – Ricky started serving full-time in 1982 – 1985 with Christian Care Centre, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. He participated in a Disciple Training School with YWAM in Singapore and later served as an associate pastor in Full Gospel Assembly in Singapore and K.L., Malaysia for several years before coming to Chiangmai in 1993. He obtained his degree in Missions and Theology from Bethany College of Missions( U.S.A.) in 1985 to 1988.
Lay Hwa – Lay Hwa was a school teacher in Singapore before her marriage to Ricky. She obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Singapore (NUS), followed by a diploma education.

- Praying for us
- Inviting us to share the work to your church
- Visiting us on a missions trip or while on vacation
- Being a volunteer (work permit will be provided for long-term volunteers)
- Sponsoring a child or donating to a specific project or need
